His can-do, no bull attitude, creativity and passion for delivering the best products and services has seen James build a vast network of happy clients and dedicated suppliers.
Never one to do things by halves, James enjoys water skiing with his 2 kids, long walks on the beach with his wife, and sweating it out at Cross Fit.
Co-owner of SmartSpace, organiser and driver of our team. While helping clients get the best solutions possible, Sheila also drives the SmartSpace team to excel and consistently perform at their best.
Building trusting relationships is just as important for Sheila as getting things done quickly and accurately for her clients, many of whom return to her repeatedly for her expertise and advice.
With five sisters and a growing family of nieces, family is a dearly cherished part of her life.

With her industry experience and enthusiasm for design, Sam is a passionate and successful sales person. Her ability to truly understand her client’s perspective has led her to excel as a project manager.
She spends her time outside of work running after her toddler at the skate park.
Pei tian leong
Pei Tian Leong (PT) uses her quick thinking, strength with Excel and organisational skills to manage SmartSpace's stock, logistics and general operations.
She has a diverse background - she moved to Auckland from the Kapiti Coast after high school, has eight years’ experience in hospitality and administration,
and is fluent in English and Cantonese.
With a diploma in Business Studies and a Bachelor of Arts, Gina Ocampo combines innovative thinking with practicality to ensure the seamless running of SmartSpace’s day-to-day operations.
For the past twenty years, Gina has worked across New Zealand, Singapore and the Philippines expanding her skills in data reporting and analysis, customer service and office administration.
Outside of work, Gina enjoys travelling to new places, immersing herself in the arts and spending time with her family.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Tess worked in the fashion industry for Karen Walker.
She spent two amazing years abroad living and working onboard large-scale super yachts in the South of France,
Tess joins SmartSpace to continue and follow her interests in design and project management. She is extremely organised, enthusiastic and has a high level of attention to detail.
Designer & Space Planning
Felicity Wong has a diploma in architectural technology, a degree in spatial design and has worked in workplace design for 15 years, both here and internationally.
Felicity answers client briefs with a creative, pragmatic approach. Finding her niche in soft furnishing solutions,
she is excited to be designing a soft seating range
to add to the SmartSpace catalogue.
Felicity finds her inspiration in almost everything she does, with a passion for travel, food, and, of course, her family.
Product & Technology Engineer
Wilhelm has over 4 years’ manufacturing experience in the commercial furniture industry combined with a Mechanical Engineering degree from
The University of Auckland.
He spearheads the design and manufacturing of our Smartalock joinery with his skills in CAD software and CNC machining. Using his background in Engineering, he’s the technical adviser on FloorSense and FloorSight services on behalf of Smartspace, as well as Product development.
Health & Safety Superstar
Julia has 25 years’ experience in Operations, Health & Safety. She helps keep our team & contractors safe on those busy fitout sites.
Julia is a bit of a “Tomboy” & enjoys spending time
with her son boating, camping, tramping, mountain biking
